SydPHP - March 2020 Meetup Using ELMO Zoom Account

NOTICE: CHANGE OF VENUE - THIS THURSDAY WILL BE A REMOTE MEETUP VIA ZOOM

Hi folks,

Over the last week, we’ve been hearing that people are unsure whether they will be comfortable attending the SydPHP meetup in person this month.

People are expressing concern because there are many messages going around in the media with themes around preventing the spread of COVID-19.

While some local events are proceeding with public gatherings as originally planned, Nootan and I have discussed changing the plan for this Thursday and making this month an online only meeting.

We believe that making a decision and communicating it now will help us to avoid confusion, reduce potential waste and ensure people are able to participate from where they are most comfortable.

So just to be clear, we will not be meeting at ELMO this Thursday, we will be hosting the meetup online only.

We’ll send more information about how to attend the event to all attendees tomorrow using once we clarify some of the details at our end.

Briefly demonstrate the architecture involved, and deeply show concepts of Geolocation, Geospatial Queries using MongoDB+PHP, and scaling API requests using PHP.
