Join us for a musical adventure at our January Jam, Improvs and Grooves Session with Syracuse Music Improv. In this event, we will explore the art of improvisation with music, sound, and instruments. All musicians and music lovers are welcome to come together and create spontaneous and innovative melodies. Whether you are an experienced musician or a beginner, this is the perfect opportunity to stretch your creative boundaries and collaborate with like-minded individuals. Let's make magic happen with our live music improvisational session, building on the success of our previous events such as "Winter Solstice Dreams Improvs and Jams" and "Creative Soundscapes: Music Improv Jam Session". Don't miss this chance to be a part of a unique musical experience that celebrates the joy of music and improvisation.

Syracuse Music Improv is based on and rooted in musical concepts from Music For People®, now celebrating 40 years. We’’ll spend a short time viewing and learning about David Darling (our founder, primary influencer), as well as look at ideas for musical play you’d like to explore this year. Stay tuned, as we’re planning special concerts and community events to commemorate this special anniversary.

This event is free and open to the public. $10-$15 donations are gratefully received to help cover administrative costs.
