Date Change! Snoqualmie Tunnel Hike. 5.3 miles RT. (read "what to bring")

Details

**Hike description and driving directions to our meeting place from the Washington Trail Association: https://www.wta.org/go-hiking/hikes/iron-horse-tunnel**
Warning! If you are coming through Hwy 18, expect heavy traffic due to construction.

What to bring:
• water
• lunch
• walking shoes or boots
• personal first aid kit
• very bright headlamp or flashlight
• jacket (the tunnel leaks water from above)
• a spirit of adventure
• Discover Pass for parking
Hike Data:
• Length: 5.3 miles roundtrip.
• Elevation gain: 0 feet
• Discover Pass required. Pay station for day pass available.
Meeting Location:
• Meet at the Iron Horse State Park/Snoqualmie Tunnel near the restroom building. Look for my Blue Subaru WRX and/or an orange flag.
Directions:
• Head east from Seattle on I-90 and take Exit 54. Turn right at the stop sign at the end of the off-ramp onto the unmarked road. Immediately you will come to another stop sign. Turn left here. This is State Route 906, though it is poorly marked; look for the Iron Horse State Park sign. Proceed 0.5 miles and take a right at the sign for the Iron Horse State Park/Snoqualmie Tunnel. If you cross a bridge, you went too far. In 0.1 miles, go right at the last Iron Horse State Park/Snoqualmie Tunnel sign and you will find the parking lot.
