Join us for a Photo Walk in Barcelona to celebrate Festa Major de Gràcia 2025.
Locals celebrate with traditional events during this day. One event we want to capture with our cameras is the Castellers de la Vila de Gràcia.
Castellers are human towers built by groups called "colles" in Catalonia, Spain. These towers, often six to ten levels high, are a spectacle of teamwork, strength, balance, and courage. Castells are a traditional Catalan cultural practice recognized by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
All levels of photographers are welcome. You can bring your camera, smartphone, or any photography equipment you prefer.

4. The photo walk will be in English 🇺🇸🇬🇧 but we have members from all over the world. We speak Spanish, German, Italian, Arabic, Hindi, and more languages. Other languages are welcome if other members speak the same language; we are an inclusive community.______IMPORTANT

1. WORKSHOP: if you want to learn how to use your camera, feel free to ask questions to the members of the community, but don't expect a full course. We host and organise specific workshops for this matter, we suggest checking our Instagram account for more information.
2. CITY TOUR. If you are a tourist and you want a full walking tour with a personal guide, we suggest you book one of our private tours. You find the link here: TripAdvisor
3. PERSONAL ASSISTANT. If you join our activity, you have to follow the guidelines we will share on the WhatsApp group during the event. If there is a member of the community helping or hosting the photo walk, this person is not in charge of giving you personal instructions or looking for you if you get lost. Take a Photo Walk is a community-based startup founded in July 2024 in Barcelona to connect photo lovers and content creators around the world. We organise and host our own photo walk meetups and private photo walks in Barcelona, Madrid, Paris, London and several cities in Europe.

When attending any events, policies regarding personal images often involve your consent and usage. Generally, private photos for personal use are acceptable, sharing them on social media may require consent if individuals are recognizable within the photo. You should tag the community and the individual in social media.

As an open group, we welcome contributions from anyone who wants to do more than just attend - whether it's planning events, leading a walk, or working on new projects.

We designed a cool experience where we will discover secrets and photogenic attractions during the summer.

Hemos diseñado una experiencia genial en la que descubriremos secretos y lugares fotogénicos durante el verano.
Son bienvenidos fotógrafos y videógrafos de todos los niveles. Puedes traer tu cámara, smartphone o cualquier equipo fotográfico que prefieras para crear tu contenido.

1. TALLER: si quieres aprender a usar tu cámara, no dudes en hacer preguntas a los miembros de la comunidad, pero no esperes un curso completo. Organizamos talleres específicos para este tema, te sugerimos que consultes nuestra cuenta de Instagram para obtener más información.
2. VISITA GUIADA. Si eres turista y quieres una visita guiada completa con un guía personal, te sugerimos que reserves una de nuestras visitas privadas. Encontrarás el enlace aquí: TripAdvisor
3. ASISTENTE PERSONAL. Si te unes a nuestra actividad, debes seguir las pautas que compartiremos en el grupo de WhatsApp durante el evento. Si hay un miembro de la comunidad ayudando u organizando el paseo fotográfico, esta persona no se encarga de darte instrucciones personales ni de buscarte si te pierdes. Por favor, sigue la guía y sé amable y respetuoso con los demás miembros.

Take a Photo Walk es una startup comunitaria fundada en julio de 2024 en Barcelona para conectar a los amantes de la fotografía y los creadores de contenido de todo el mundo. Organizamos y acogemos nuestros propios encuentros fotográficos y paseos fotográficos privados en Barcelona, Madrid, París, Londres y varias ciudades de Europa.
Somos una comunidad abierta e inclusiva. ¡No dudes en unirte a uno de nuestros eventos y traer a tus amigos!

Cuando se asiste a cualquier evento, las políticas relativas a las imágenes personales suelen implicar tu consentimiento y uso. Por lo general, las fotos privadas para uso personal son aceptables, pero compartirlas en las redes sociales puede requerir consentimiento si se reconoce a personas en la foto. Debes etiquetar a la comunidad y a la persona en las redes sociales.
Si no te sientes cómodo siendo fotografiado o filmado, por favor, avisa al grupo antes de que comience el evento.
