Interior Abstract Photography in Artist Studio Building South End

Greetings Photographers! Due to the cold weather again this coming weekend, we will work inside. This is the perfect time to hone your camera skills. Learn to use more of the settings on your camera to achieve the effects you want. iPhones are also welcome for this shoot.
This week you will have a special opportunity to photograph the interior space of the Boston Center for the Arts Studio building. Rarely open to the public, we will start in my studio space and then explore the 4 floors of this historic building searching for still life subjects, architectural details, and wabi wabi. See 6 samples in the album below. This area is especially good for closeup, macro, and abstract style photos.
Many areas make for good black and white shots if you like to work on that skill as well. This is a great workshop for working on compositions that transform the ordinary into the extraordinary. I will provide creative seeing challenges to help you see with a fresh eye. .
Time to get out and have some fun with your fellow photographers. There are lots of great spots to have coffee or lunch before class if you like to make a day of it in the South End. Hope you can join us!
