Meet Our Instructor
David has been involved in Tai Chi and Qigong for over 15 years. He is a certified trainer in The Four Pillars of Health Program, a wellness and fall prevention program approved by Fitness Australia.
David has shared the benefits of Tai Chi Chuan and Qigong with hospital patients, staff, friends and online participants.
With a deep passion for holistic health and a compassionate teaching style, David will guide you on your journey to well-being.

PROGRAM
7:30 am - Welcome and introduction
- Meditation - Wu-ji (stillness before movement)
- Qigong - Ba Duan Jin (8 Brocades Qigong)
- Meditation - Wu-ji + compassionate meditation
8:30 am - Closing
(Optional) 8:30 - 9:00 am - Feedback, Q&A Discussion.

The session requires participants to stand. However, if you become tired during the session, you may sit in a chair and (if you are able) perform the arm movements in the seated position.
For the best online experience
- Set your camera to on, for visual feedback.
- Set your microphone to mute, during the meditation session and when you are not speaking. This will help minimise any background noise.
PREPARATION before joining the class:
- Clothes - Wear comfortable, warm clothing that allows for free body movement.
- Room - A quiet space where you won't be disturbed by noise, with good air ventilation, and not too cold or hot.
- Space - Allow enough space around you, so your arms can swing around you without interference.
- Chair (applicable if you are participating in a seated position): Use a comfortable, padded seat that is preferably without armrests and has no wheels or locked wheels. Adjust the seat height so both your feet touch flat on the floor.
- Technical issue - Ensure the computer network's connectivity, audio, and camera are functional.
CAUTION: If you are experiencing cold/flu symptoms or feeling unwell, it is recommended that you abstain from attending, as participation may exacerbate your symptoms.
