What we’re about
Welcome to the Tuesday Afternoon Photography Group (TAPG).
We are an informal, all-volunteer group of photographers - from beginners to experienced. We meet 4 times monthly, twice in person and twice on Zoom at the Santa Rosa Finley Senior Center. (See schedule below.) Except for field trips, meetings run from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
We share images, coach each other, pursue fun in photography and photo editing, exchange tips & tricks, and learn from speakers who have greater or different photography experiences. Members use all kinds of cameras – including cell phone cameras.

The idea is to take your cameras dancing! Get shots of the performers and audience. (Dancing is not required).
The event is from 5-8pm. The opening act is The Sorentinos, and the main act the highly recommended Volker Strifler. Let’s meet each other at 6pm at the food trucks.

The Russian River Rodeo is happening on June 21 and 22 at 1pm. We decided to make Saturday June 21st an official field trip, but that doesn’t prevent you from going on Sunday if you can’t make the Saturday date.
This has been a really fun event in the past. Bring your long lenses!And you need to buy your tickets in advance. You will want to get there early to get a good seat.

Tickets to the Russian River Rodeo are only available online here at RodeoTicket.com. Tickets WILL NOT be sold at the gate like they have been in years past. The Russian River Rodeo Association strives to provide fun and safe entertainment for the whole family and in order to do so strictly online ticket sales are the best way to achieve that. If you find tickets on another website there is no guarantee that those tickets will allow you entry to the rodeo.
Their website below has tickets for $17. Beware - the first site I found had tickets at $58! And according to their note above, it may not get you in!
