Fall 2025 Mountain Training Series Ride #1: Sharp Top Mountain and Thunder Ridge.

We are headed to VA to climb Sharp Top Mountain and Thunder Ridge. Total elevation gain of over 7K feet. We finish with a nice downhill stretch.
Expected pace for the entire ride ~15-16 mph. We will regroup at top of the two climbs.

Rehydration and refuel stop before Thunder Ridge.

Ride departs promptly at 10:00 AM from Mountain Fruit and Produce.

Anticipate arriving back to Chapel Hill around 6 PM.

Bathrooms available at the start. The produce market has made to order sandwiches and plenty of beverage options.

Your responsibility as part of the group is to RSVP and supply your own cue sheet or download the GPS file.
