Navigating redundancy

Details
The tech industry has been thrown into a spin over the last year, with our once-secure jobs and career dissolved by the very companies we gave our loyalty to.
This has left many in our community trying to understand why this happened to them, others confused by survivors guilt, and managers left heartbroken having to let go of teams they painstakingly grew.
It's no shock to anyone that women, and other underrepresented people, have been disproportionally disadvantaged by this.
In this meetup, we will shed light on why redundancies happen, how companies decide who goes, what the fall out can be, and what leaders can do to support their people through this.
But there is more!! Talking is not enough. Tech Leading Ladies will kick off our new Next Gig program for our members who are now looking for work once again. Get advice, guidance, and the support of your cohort, as you look for your next gig. Come along to find out more and sign up to the program.
Agenda (times in Melbourne/AEDT):
- 5:15pm Welcome & Networking
- 6:00 Panel, followed by Q&A
- 6:40 Details of Next Gig program
