Tech on the Tyne is our technology meetup/networking event in Newcastle upon Tyne. We’re all about hands-on technical learning and networking.
At Tech on the Tyne, you'll get the chance to mingle with a diverse community of like-minded professionals, whether you're a pro or just starting out. We want everyone to feel welcome and included, so we've created an environment where you can learn, collaborate, and level up your tech skills.
We host interactive workshops and tech sessions led by proper industry experts. We cover all the latest buzz, like artificial intelligence, data science, software development, DevOps, cybersecurity and more... And the best part? You get to dive right in and get your hands dirty, gaining practical experience and putting what you've learned into action.

Christian Steanson is a Solution Designer at Sage, working on Sage Copilot – the trusted AI productivity assistant for accountants and businesses. With nearly five years at Sage, Christian began his journey as an apprentice in the web team before transitioning into product, where he has spent the past three years shaping innovative AI solutions.
Christian takes ideas from concept to launch, designing and delivering user-focused product features powered by LLMs, machine learning, and agentic AI.
