About us

Welcome to That Exactly – a community designed to support ADHDers through connection, understanding, and productivity. This group was specifically created with the intention of providing a welcoming, supportive community where ADHDers can connect, learn, and thrive. Here, you’ll find a safe, inclusive space where you can be your authentic self, learn about ADHD (including what it is and what it isn’t), and build meaningful relationships with others who just "get" it.

As someone who personally has ADHD and is deeply passionate about ADHD education and support, I started this group to provide the kind of space I wish I had earlier. Having ADHD can feel isolating, but when we come together, we can remind each other that we’re not alone and learn how to offer ourselves the grace that we all deserve. That Exactly is here to offer the understanding, tools, and community you need to grow, succeed, and find joy in your unique brain.

Our events are tailored to nurture the many aspects of life with ADHD. Through educational discussions, body doubling sessions, and social events, we aim to foster understanding, self-compassion, and productivity. We host virtual body doubling sessions to help with brain-intensive work, household chores, and creative projects – because sometimes, having someone alongside you makes all the difference. In addition to online sessions, we also offer occasional in-person meetups like Walk & Talks, Coffee Chats, and community service events. Whether you’re here to boost productivity, make new friends, or learn more about your brain, you’re in the right place.

This community is all about compassionate, inclusive support. Our goal is to help each member feel seen, heard, accepted, and empowered to navigate life with confidence. We are proudly LGBTQ+ friendly and welcome individuals of all identities and backgrounds. We value safety, learning, and connection – and we can’t wait for you to be a part of it.

Come join us for our Wins-Day Celebration! 🎉

We don’t celebrate our wins nearly enough — especially with ADHD.
But here’s the science-y truth:

Celebrating even tiny wins creates real neurological benefits.

When we acknowledge progress (big or small), our brains release dopamine — a neurotransmitter ADHD brains tend to run low on. That dopamine boost improves motivation, focus, emotional regulation, and follow-through.

At the same time, sharing our wins with a safe, supportive community increases serotonin, which helps stabilize mood, reduce stress, and reinforce a sense of belonging — something many ADHDers deeply crave.

In other words:
Celebrating your wins isn’t fluffy. It’s brain care.

And that’s what Wins-Day is all about.

This is a warm, supportive space where we take a few minutes to:

  • share something we’re proud of — even if it feels tiny
  • celebrate each other’s victories
  • build momentum through positive reinforcement
  • remind ourselves that progress counts (not perfection)

Whether your win is “I folded one shirt” or “I finally did the hard thing I’ve been avoiding for weeks,” it belongs here.

This community gets it.

Your wins matter.

You matter.

Session Structure:

To keep this space intentional and meaningful, attendance is limited to just 10 people (11, if you include me). This helps ensure that everyone has the time and space to truly share and be celebrated—without feeling rushed or overlooked.

  • We'll start the celebration at 9:03 AM (MDT) (yep, that’s intentional!) to give folks a moment to settle in.
  • Everyone gets at least 3 minutes to celebrate their win—without feeling rushed.
  • When you have 30 seconds left, I’ll use the ✋ "raised hand" feature as a gentle heads-up to start wrapping up.

Let’s laugh, cheer each other on, and practice being loud about what we’re proud of. 💜 We can’t wait to celebrate you.

👥 Participation Notes

  • Camera optional, but please turn it on when it's your turn to share. Message me if that's tricky — we’ll figure it out!
  • This is a small, cozy event (capped at 11–13). Please RSVP only if you're planning to attend.
  • If you can’t make it, just update your RSVP to “No” — no guilt at all, and it helps someone else take part. 💛
  • To join this event, you’ll need to have attended at least 3 other group events. If not, you may be moved to the waitlist.
  • We prioritize members who show up consistently. Frequent no-shows may be moved down the list so others can attend.
