Deep-Dive Discussion: Euphoria & Fear - Is the Social Mood Affecting You?!
Details
There are the good times, and there are the bad times. "This too shall pass," goes the timeless proverb. While we have our individual experiences, are we unknowingly participating in much larger cycles of emotion and emergent social behavior?
Enter the theory of Socionomics, which posits that we collectively manifest patterns of positive and negative social mood that are fractal in nature and affect essentially everything. Over the past 100 years, we have compiled myriad data revealing correlations between our politics, economics, fashion trends, and so much more!
And yes, it just so happens that financial markets are the most visible display of these patterns, but more recent data in the Information Age unveils far more than even that! How are we being affected by these changes, and is there anything we should prepare for?!
What to Expect
This will be group deep-dive discussion followed by plenty of organic social time. Let’s make it a goal to connect deeply with as many people as possible! I challenge each one of you to learn the names of anyone you speak to and try to remember something interesting about them. I don't want to hear "I'm bad with names."; choose to be better!
Your food and drink choices are up to you. I will do my best to facilitate and make sure everyone is connected and gets to know each other.
