Meet outside White Horse Inn, Well Heads, Thornton, Denholme, Bradford BD13 3SJ. We walk to Thornton Road to pick up the old railway line path, crossing over Thornton viaduct eventually to pick up a path leading up too West Scholes. A footpath then takes us down to cross over the railway path and down onto Thornton. A chance to visit the Brontë Bell Chapel and newly refurbished museum and birthplace of the famous Brontë sisters and their brother Branwell.
A little minor road walking brings us to a lane leading down to Salt Pie. Then footpaths leading to Aldersley, Upper Pikeley then Egypt. Further footpaths take on the edge of Bell Dean, Back Heights, eventually to pick up the Brontë Way back to our start.

Usual £1 fee applies. Alternatively £10 for a years subscription.
This is a social not for profit group.
Your event host has no formal qualifications as a walk leader. The walk will have been recced prior to being announced, and is there to guide you along the route, and make sure everyone stays together.
Please be aware you are responsible for your own safety, and mindful of others safety.
Requirements: Snack/Food and drink, walking boots, fleece, waterproof coat and trousers.
