Wow, what an education I received in the fifteen years I spent writing my historical novel! For example, historical research is great fun, but it can also be quite tedious and encounter major roadblocks. Writing fiction is easy, you’re just telling a story, right? But then things come into play like Point of View (POV), World Building, Show Don’t Tell, Dialogue vs. Narrative! Plus, the dynamics of unique people groups, with ethnic and religious differences, and even issues involving descendants of characters in the story. It can get very complicated! I look forward to being with you and sharing some of the stories behind my story!
