Coe Landing is a quiet, small (20 spots) park on the shores of Lake Talquin near Tallahassee, Florida. It has the basics, and the city is nearby for anything you want. Coe Landing County Campground is on the edge of the Apalachicola National Forest, so it is an ideal base camp for all that the forest has to offer. Given the campground's location on Lake Talquin, there is also some great fishing. Mexico Beach is about 2 hours away, as is Panama City, so those are definitely day trips to the ocean. Lake Talquin State Park is also close by with hiking trails.

I have a friend from Tallahassee that I will be camping with, so he and I will definitely be hanging out. Since there is no set schedule of events, we will figure it out as we go. Come join us, and I'm sure we will have some fun.

If you're looking for an inexpensive, beautiful, warmer place to go, this would be an ideal location.
