Join us for another Film Club event where we will be discussing Baz Luhrmann version of "Elvis".

The 2022 movie "Elvis," directed by Baz Luhrmann, explores the life and music of Elvis Presley, portrayed by Austin Butler. The film chronicles his rise to fame, his complex relationship with his manager Colonel Tom Parker (played by Tom Hanks), and his personal life, including his marriage to Priscilla Presley.

We will not watch a movie but discuss it, so try to watch it before.

When Mar’s estranged mother passes away, she sees her way out of Malta by selling off her inheritance: three pieces of farmland in the countryside.
On her journey to claim her land, she meets Nenu, a spirited 80-year-old singer whose vibrant folk music pulls her into the colourful traditions of the island she’s been so eager to escape. An unexpected connection between past and present grows as Mar slowly warms to the homeland she wanted to turn her back on.
Featuring real Maltese folk artists and set against Malta’s stunning landscapes, ŻEJTUNE is a heartfelt ode to the power of music and the surprising places we find belonging.

Join us for another Film Club event where we will be discussing Robert Benton's legal drama "Kramer vs Kramer" starring Dustin Hoffman and Meryl Streep.

It tells the story of a couple's divorce, its effect on their young son, and the subsequent evolution of their relationship and views on parenting. Kramer vs. Kramer explores the psychology and fallout of divorce, and touches on emerging and prevailing social issues such as gender roles, fathers' rights, work-life balance, and single parents.

Join us for another exhibition on screen outing for "Frida Kahlo".

Exhibition on Screen’s award-winning film – first released during covid to a restricted audience – is back by popular demand with an exciting new addition from the curators of the blockbuster transatlantic exhibition from Tate Modern and MFA Houston ‘Frida Kahlo: the Making of an Icon’. Back in the cinemas in May 2026, one month before the Tate exhibition opens, allowing audiences to watch both the film and see the show.
