Welcome to The Creative Photography Club Meetup!
We are a diverse group of creative individuals who are passionate about digital photography, photojournalism, and all aspects of visual storytelling.
Our group hosts group photo shoots, workshops on Lightroom and Photoshop, and educational sessions on studio photography and landscape photography.
Whether you are a beginner looking to learn the basics or a seasoned pro seeking to expand your skills, we welcome photographers of all levels.
Join us to connect with like-minded enthusiasts, share your work, and explore the world through the lens of your camera.

Join photographer, Fujifilm Creator and educator Dave Julian as he shares his approach to authentic travel photography.
Using some of his favorite images as examples, Dave will reveal how he creates photographs that go well beyond the postcard to capture the unique feeling of a place and the people who inhabit it. He’ll offer simple, practical tips for working in new environments, anticipating opportunities, and building stronger visual stories— with cultural sensitivity and without faked scenarios and models.
He’ll also explain how he helps photographers at all levels to take creative risks, learn new skills and grow their personal style. This will be an interactive, inclusive meetup that leads towards forthcoming SPC member photo-sharing meetups. Non-Members are also welcome so long as they RSVP as if members using this link below.

BIO:
Dave Julian is a Seattle-based photographer and photo-educator who enjoys helping others explore their creative vision and improve their craft. His work appears in many publications including Nikon World, Outside, National Geographic Traveler, Islands, Audubon, Outdoor Photographer, Digital PhotoPro, FujiLove and podcasts that include Beginner Photography, Hit The Streets, and Photo Conversations.
He leads cultural travel and street photography workshops in the Pacific NW, Europe, Vietnam, India and Cuba, and for Santa Fe Workshops, Maine Media Workshops, Vancouver Photographic Workshops, PCNW and BlackRapid, Glazer’s Camera and Kenmore Camera. Dave is also lead instructor for the
University of Washington Photography Certificate program. He is a photographer with Fujifilm’s X/GFX CREATOR team.
