About us
We are a collective of death doulas, end-of-life guides, funeral professionals, and grief guides offering compassionate support through one of life’s most sacred transitions.
With deep roots in tradition and an openness to what’s emerging, our network provides seamless care -from bedside to burial, from planning to parting. We believe in doing death differently - with intention, with care, and in ways that truly reflect a life well lived.
From lively gatherings like Death Cafe and Death over Drafts, to deep meaningful workshops that help to ease the conversation about death, dying and grief to workshops that help us integrate grief with yoga, creative writing and so much more - we are passionate about lifting the taboo about death, dying and grief!

Death Cafe La Mesa
Om CSL - La Mesa Center, 7951 University Ave, La Mesa, CA, USAt a Death Cafe, people—often strangers—come together to enjoy treats, sip tea, and openly discuss death. Our goal is to encourage greater awareness of death, helping us all to live more fully in the time we have.
We’re creating a warm, welcoming space where you can engage in meaningful conversations about a subject that, while often considered taboo, connects us all. Whether you’ve faced death personally or are simply curious about your own mortality, you’ll find authentic, lively discussions with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Our gatherings are led by volunteer facilitators, with the aim of fostering positive, thoughtful dialogue within a supportive community. By coming together as a community, we forge meaningful connections that honor our shared curiosity about death.

Death Over Drafts - Anaheim CA
Honey River Brewing CO, 3910 E. Coronado St. Suite G, Anaheim, CA, USDeath Over Drafts: A Social Gathering on Life, Death & Everything In Between 💀🍻
At The Death Network, we believe conversations about death, dying, and grief belong out in the open not hidden behind closed doors. After building community throughout San Diego, we’re excited to head north and partner with Orange County Deathworkers Alliance, Meadow Memorials, and Autonomy Health for a night of connection, curiosity, and really good conversation at Honey River Brewing Co.This isn’t a lecture or a workshop - it’s a laid-back evening to mix, mingle, grab a drink, and connect with people who aren’t afraid to talk honestly about life, loss, autonomy, and what matters most. And with a room full of end-of-life professionals, there will be plenty of opportunities to ask those lingering questions you’ve been carrying around but never knew where to ask. Check out the KPBS story on Death over Drafts in San Diego!
We’re also honored to welcome special guest Dr. Donnie Moore, who will help guide discussion around California’s legal option for medical aid in dying (MAiD), creating space for thoughtful conversation, education, and honest questions.
Whether you’re death-curious, navigating grief, supporting aging parents, planning ahead, or simply craving more meaningful conversation, Death Over Drafts is a welcoming space to pull up a chair and join the dialogue.
