What we’re about
This group is for everyone who likes intellectual discussion and the sharing of ideas and values. It covers a wide range of topics - art, history, philosophy, economics, science, culture, sexuality, beliefs - whatever people in the group are interested in talking about.
Each session starts with one member talking about a topic they are interested in. We then discuss that topic. The group encourages diversity of opinion with a relaxed atmosphere that allows people to express themselves openly without judgment or hostility.
Each session will have suggested books and web articles to read and videos to watch so that we can have a quality, informed discussion.

See all- Humanity and Hope Amidst the Climate CrisisC/ de València, 209, Barcelona
Climate change is a human-made problem - so can an understanding of human behavior and the tools of societal change help us solve it? While innovation and technology are essential for a sustainable future, this discussion will focus on the often-overlooked role of individuals and communities in driving meaningful environmental change.
We will look at the behavioural science behind key sustainability challenges; the links between the climate and mental health crises; the power of community in creating environmental impact; and more.
This session will be led by Polly, who is currently pursuing a Master's in Environmental Psychology. She holds a B.A. & Sc. in Cognitive Science and works at the Turning Point Research Foundation for Mental Health and Sustainability.
Bring wine/beer/drinks/food/snacks/whatever if you want to.
