The Jump from Employee to Entrepreneur + Networking Night

Details

The Entrepreneur Club is getting together for a networking night and to hear from Entrepreneur and TEDx Melbourne Curator Jon Yeo. Jon left the corporate world in 2004 on a somewhat random attempt to work out what he wanted to do. He made a lot of (very) expensive mistakes. Come along and find out how to avoid losing valuable time and money.

More about the speaker:

Jon works with small high growth business (6-20 employees or teams) giving them structure and process to get things done in less time with greater ease and peace of mind. He does that by changing the way they approach business so it's simpler, faster and easier.

Recently, Jon was selected as a panel member at the request of Telstra (alongside Lindsay Fox and Barry Simpson - CIO Coca Cola Amatil) to represent the future of small business to 50+ international ICT analysts. He is also part of the Ministerial Round Table (Melbourne 2050). A working group with the Ministerial Advisory Committee to focus on key issues for Melbourne in the next 30 years.

Today, Jon works and speaks all over the world in areas such as mindset, inspiration & productivity. Jon is passionate how social entrepreneurship can support business and communities build mutual benefits and outcomes. He does this through his own business, Brightstar Consulting and as a Board Member of Morrisons of Mt Evelyn, a social enterprise bringing social impact and accountability curriculum to Australia. Jon is also curator for TEDxMelbourne, an independently licensed event of TED.com (http://TED.com/)

The night will also have networking opportunities for those attending!
