Flanders Nature Center/Whittemore Sanctuary

GPS: Approx 441 Sherman Hill Rd, Woodbury. B-level hike for approximately 5.5 miles. Limited parking. No pets.

Please read these driving directions:
From Middlebury: Slow down when you get to the Woodbury town line. Whittemore is just ahead on the right.
From Southbury/Woodbury: Slow down when you get to the Vet on the left at 431 Sherman Hill Rd. Whittemore is just ahead on the left. If you get to the Middlebury town line and Quassy Amusement Park, you’ve gone too far.

Please arrive a few minutes early because we plan to start promptly at the time listed.

Please bring: Clothing layers (no cotton or jeans), comfortable hiking footwear, backpack, poles, water and snacks, personal first aid and meds, and tick repellent.

We do ask for a contribution of $3 per hike or $15 per year to cover meetup.com fees and our annual social event.
