It's time for another wine tasting adventure with the Jetsetting Wineauxs. This time our palates are going to GEORGIA! That's as in Eastern Europe, not Atlanta.

What is Georgian Wine?
Georgian wine is known for its ancient winemaking tradition, dating back 8,000 years, and unique methods like fermenting and aging wine in large, underground clay vessels called qvevri, which creates distinctive amber wines. Key grape varieties include the red Saperavi and white Rkatsiteli, resulting in a diverse range of styles from dry reds like Mukuzani to amber wines with notes of apricot and honey, and semi-sweet reds like Kindzmarauli.

What to Bring?

  • Your play passport to check in. If you are a new member to the group you will receive one. Please do not lose it, it's a $5 replacement fee, but includes stickers.
  • A fun fact about the country that you will share with the group. Can be anything of interest. Some ideas are food origins, famous and infamous people, history, scandals, true crime, politics, religion, quirky laws, architecture/monuments, and points of interest.
  • Your attention - while this is a social and fun event, all ears on Craig when he is giving his wine education presentation and also on each other when we are sharing our fun facts.

Location & Cost:
Hidden Tracks PHX. Craig, the owner will be guiding us in a curated wine tasting of 4 wines, plus paired food. $25 per person paid at time of tasting.

RSVP:
Please do not be a no-show to this event. A lot of prep work, time and money goes into planning this event and your no-show and last minute cancellation is a disservice to the venue. Please make sure to update your RSVP if you are unable to make it at least 48 hours in advance. Thank you for your courtesy. I really appreciate it!!
