Photography and hiking in the You Yangs

As the weather gets cooler, it is time to get out your hiking shoes and camera, and explore the You Yangs. It's not a difficult hike and there are some walking trails to consider.

This year we have decided to explore the Saddleback Track Loop - we explored Flinders Peak a couple of years ago.

SCHEDULE

9.30am - Meet at Turntable Carpark (Turntable Drive, Little River, Victoria
3211) for introduction and briefing.
9.45am - Explore the Saddleback Track Loop and turn off to Big Rock as
we head back to the carpark.
12.45pm - Drive to Lara
1.00pm - Lunch at Founders and Co. (77 Station Lake Road, Lara).
2.00pm - Event ends.

Tips for the hike
The walk may take a couple of hours and it would be a good idea to bring water, wear a hat and of course sunscreen. Also wear suitable clothing and footwear. It is also a good idea that you stay in the main or small group (in other words, we encourage you to walk with at least another person and not wander off on your own).
