This event will be capped at 30 participants plus MWSG organisers & partners. Important to note that you will need to organise your own accommodation and sign up if you are sure you will be attending. If you need to pull out, please update your RSVP as soon as possible so that those on the waitlist can attend, and it will also give them enough time to look for accommodation.

Draft Schedule
Winton Wetlands and surrounds
A photographic journey taking in some silo art and the Winton Wetlands (formerly the now drained Lake Mokoan), which has now returned to nature. It’s an excellent location for birding, wildlife and astrophotography.
We recommend booking accommodation in Benalla, as it is the most central location.
Note, unless you have a serious 4WD with recovery gear, we suggest avoiding Nelson Road.
After any recent rain, take care when parking, as the road shoulders can be boggy even if the surface appears dry.
This is a draft schedule and is subject to change. We will revisit this schedule as the weather forecasts become available, closer to the date.
