Beaver Full Moon Hike Green Mountain Lakewood
Details
We will be hiking to the top of Green Mountain, Lakewood to see the Beaver Full Moon. It's one of the brightest all year and the full moon will be closest to the earth at this time. It is 4.6 miles RT with 890' elevation gain (rated as a moderate hike). Sunset is at 4:53pm. Park curfew is 10:00pm. Moon Rise in the east at 6:22pm. We should be close to the top of Green Mountain when the moon rises. Don't forget you headlamp. We can eat afterwards at Wrigley's.

WHAT TO BRING: Appropriate gear (headlamp, snacks, first aid kit, jacket, gloves, water, hat, hiking poles, etc).
DISTANCE/GAIN: 4.6 miles RT with 890 ft. elevation gain. (Difficult-Strenuous).
