Backpacking Trip to Eagle Cap Wilderness in the Wallowa Mountains

Details
Hi everyone! I'm posting this as a place holder until I can put some details together. This will be a 4 day 3 night trip into Eagle Cap Wilderness in the Wallowa Mountains in NE OR. At this point, I'm leaning towards hiking in about 7 miles and setting up camp on Friday in the lake basin. From there, we can do day hikes, including Eagle Cap Peak, Glacier Lake, Ice Lake or Six Mile Meadow. Lots of lakes in the area with fishing opportunities for those interested. It is a 5+ hour drive to the trailhead, so I advise driving out on Thursday the 28th. I will find a campground close to the trailhead for us to overnight.
DETAILS-So, I have dialed the trip in, and here are the details:
We will be leaving to backpack from Two Pan Trailhead, which is at the end of Lostine River Road at 10am on Friday, Aug 29. There is also a campground here so you can drive up Thursday and camp. We are going to backpack about 6 to 7 miles and setup a base camp at Mirror Lake or Moccasin Lake. On Saturday we can do a day hike around the lakes basin to checkout some other lakes like Douglas Lake, Lee Lake and Crescent Lake, we could also get out to Glacier Lake. On Sunday we could summit Eagle Cap Peak, 9544 feet in elevation, on Monday we hike back to our cars, we can find a place to eat before heading back to Portland. You always have to option to lounge in camp, go swimming, fish, or go on a shorter adventure, staying close to camp on Saturday or Sunday.
If interested, please get on the waitlist and then message me that you want to go on the trip. I will post details once I have things dialed in. If you have questions, then please ask.
Thanks!
