Emptiness is often misunderstood as a void or nothingness, yet its deep understanding unlocks the very ground of our existence. Rather than negating reality, emptiness reveals the dynamic, interdependent nature that allows all phenomena to arise and play. This insight, first elucidated by the Buddha, is accessible through our own reasoning and direct experience—no faith required and aligns strikingly well with modern physics

The session will be presented by Alan Carter a Buddhist, who has practiced and studied extensively and undertaken many retreats over a period of 32 years, and has been teaching applied Buddhist Philosophy for the past 20 years. Participants are encouraged to bring something for note‑taking as this will help with understanding this topic.
