Signal Peak (Red Mountain) Hike

This is an 8 mile hike with about 2400 feet of elevation gain. We'll hike to an abandoned fire lookout on Red Mountain near Emigrant Gap. Note that this hike is on an OHV (Off Highway Vehicle) trail so we may encounter vehicles because it's Memorial Day Weekend.

Bring lunch, water. sunscreen, hat and sturdy hiking shoes/boots. Bring layered clothing as it can be windy and cold at the higher elevations. We'll set up carpools at the meeting point. Diving time to the trailhead is about 1 Hour and 15 Minutes. Riders pay $10 gas money.
