The Great Treasure Trade (Bingo with a Twist)

It’s time to dig into your shelves, closets, and cabinets for that one item you once loved but no longer use; something too nice to throw away, but waiting for a new home.

Every round of BINGO wins you a “new-to-you” prize brought in by another guest. The catch? Each prize was once someone else’s treasure.

Here’s how it works:

• Bring a Treasure: Admission is free, but you must bring one item to participate. Think of something you once cherished but don’t use anymore, and would be delighted to see spark joy for someone else.
• Play BINGO: We’ll play classic rounds of BINGO, with prizes pulled from the treasure table.
• Hear the Stories: Between rounds, prize donors will share a quick 1–2 minute story about their item and what it once meant to them.
• The Treasure Trade: During the final 30 minutes, we’ll open the floor for anyone who wants to swap or trade unclaimed treasures—because sometimes, the real win is finding the perfect match for your item.

It will be an afternoon of nostalgia, laughter, and surprise discoveries. Think of it as part thrift-store treasure hunt, part story circle, part game day.

Recommended Items (things that make great treasures)

• Books you loved and want someone else to enjoy
• Funky jewelry or accessories
• Vinyl records, CDs, or cassettes
• Vintage décor or home goods
• Board games, puzzles, or craft kits in good condition
• Clothing with character (scarves, hats, statement pieces)
• Tools or hobby supplies you’ve moved on from
• Small electronics in working order (speakers, kindle, etc.)
• Sentimental knick-knacks with a story

Not Recommended Items (please leave at home)

• Anything broken, dirty, or missing pieces
• Perishables (food, drinks, plants)
• Toiletries, cosmetics, or personal hygiene items
• Highly personal or intimate items
• Bulk “junk” (no giant boxes of old cords or random leftovers)
• Items too large to carry home easily (furniture, TVs, etc.)

Agenda:
1:00PM-1:30PM - Arrive and purchase a beverage or meal. Toasted Coffee + Kitchen requires all patrons to make a purchase in exchange for free event space. Please do your part so that we can keep hosting events there.
1:30PM-2:30PM - Bingo time 🏆
2:30-3:00PM - Treasure Trade! This is your opportunity to trade any unclaimed bingo prizes💰
