Join Think Wild for a field trip to Green Ridge for an informal raptor survey on Saturday, November 1st from 1-3pm.

Learn about raptor migration, overwintering raptors, and the importance of population monitoring by participating in informal raptor survey counts. Learn more about the unique geology of Green Ridge and why it makes for the most productive hawk watch site in Oregon!

Participants should bring lawn chairs, lunch, snacks and drinks and dress in warm clothes and layers for Central Oregon's unpredictable weather. Think Wild will provide binoculars and field guides but feel free to bring your own!
*Note there is some moderate hiking required to get to the site.

Carpool from Sisters is available and strongly encouraged as parking is limited at the site. We will meet at Village Green Park in Sisters between 12-12:15 pm!
