Book Club Meetup: Listen for the Lie by Amy Tinterra
Details
Join us for our first book club meeting to discuss "Listen for the Lie" by Amy Tinterra.
About the Book:
Five years ago, Lucy was the prime suspect in a murder that rocked her small Texas town. She can't remember what happened that night, but everyone else seems convinced they know the truth. Now, a true crime podcast is digging into the case, and Lucy has been asked to participate. As she returns to her hometown, she must confront the secrets, lies, and her own unreliable memories to uncover what really happened.
What to Expect:
- Engaging discussion about the book's themes of memory, truth, and small-town secrets
- Share your theories and favourite moments
- Meet fellow thriller enthusiasts in a welcoming environment
- Light refreshments will be available.
What to Bring:
- Your copy of the book (or notes/thoughts)
- Your questions and theories about the story
- An open mind and enthusiasm for discussion!
- A donation if possible ($2-$5) as there is a rental fee for the room and chipping in would be greatly appreciated, but not required!
Please read/listen to the book before attending so we can have a spoiler-filled discussion. Looking forward to seeing everyone there!
Please note- the library opens at 10, so no need to come early. We'll do a casual meet and greet and get started talking about the book at 10:30.
