This event is now oversubscribed with 24 competitors, so we regret we cannot accept any more pitchers. However, you can still register at TiE to attend as an audience member and hear the pitches, judges feedback and network with fellow entrepreneurs!

Fantastic Prizes!

The first prize is a ticket to fly to Silicon Valley and admission to TiE's flagship TiECON conference on May 18-19 (http://sydney.tie.org/article/51/connect-innovate-prosper-tiecon-silicon-valley-may-18-19-2012), providing a unique opportunity to meet with angels, venture capitalists and strategic investors - and pitch to them! TiECON SV is attended by the who's who of the Valley with several thousand delegates from aroudn the world.

Competition

The objective of TiE Sydney’s Pitching Competition is to give aspiring women entrepreneurs an opportunity to learn to pitch to angel investors, build their confidence in their ideas and themselves and connect to TiE’s global network of supportive members.

Entrants are required to pitch their entrepreneurial idea in a short three-minute presentation and a two-minute Q&A to convince a panel of judges to back their idea.

All entrants have an opportunity to refine their pitching skills before the competition at a Pitching Workshop (http://sydney.tie.org/event/51/women-entrepreneurs-pitching-workshop) and receive valuable feedback from experienced TiE Charter Members.

The judging panel will be made up of experienced TiE Charter Members, angel investors and VCs.

Entry Fees

The entry fee for pitchers and those who simply want to attend the event is just $35. Bring a friend to help cheer you on!
