🇯🇵は下: Annual zero-waste picnic! RSVP now and meet new friends who share your interests in sustainability, climate change, the environment, thrifting, ESG, carbon-aware programming, veganism, education, organic farming, and more.

We will take group photos to use for our meetup group page as people think we are just a hiking group. 📸😀

Please note that we won't reply to DMs or comments after 11:00 AM, and it takes 15 minutes from the station to the meeting point due to the crowding.

Deli food, whole cakes, and over-packaged snacks caused waste.
Cans caused the use of big plastic bags to be brought back.

🌿 How to make this event sustainable
Trash

1. Take all your trash home
2. Bring your own plate, cup, and cutlery
3. Use public transport, bicycle, or walk
4. No whole cakes!
5. Choose snacks with minimal packaging
6. If sharing food, bring small portions as half of the group is vegan, vegetarian, or lives under dietary limitations.

Diversity

1. Special diets are hard for the Japanese to understand. If you refuse food, they just think you are humble. We appreciate your patience and effort.

🥪 What to Bring (for yourself)

• Food & drink that doesn't contain alcohol
• Cup, cutlery, and picnic mat
• Garbage bag. No bins in the park.

• 1,000 yen in cash or Square(visa, paypay, etc), to be collected when we meet at the meeting point

• Minimum: 4 people
• Maximum: 20 people
• Under-18s and pets cannot attend

• If you need to cancel within 24 hours, please message the organiser
• In case of rain, we will announce cancellation by 6:00 AM on the day
• The event will be cancelled if fewer than 6 people RSVP by 5 days before

• No-shows
• Joining without RSVP
• Frequent last-minute cancellations

🗑️ 過去のゴミ記録

• 2024/4/11 – レジ袋3枚以上

惣菜の残り、過剰包装のお菓子、ホールケーキ、動物愛護団体のチラシがゴミの原因でした。缶と瓶はリサイクル可能ですが、かさばるのでゴミ袋をたくさん使いました。今回0.5枚分に戻したいです。ご協力ありがとうございます😭

🌿 サステナブルなピクニックにするために
ゴミ対策

1. シェア用の惣菜は最小限に、もしくは買ってこない
2. お菓子作り/料理好きなら、全体の3割の人数分を小さめに作れば十分✨
3. マイ食器・コップ・カトラリーを持参
4. 自分のゴミはすべて持ち帰る（あげた/もらった缶・瓶・お菓子含む）
5. 電車、バス、自転車、または徒歩で来る
6. 過剰包装のお菓子を買わない（例: 箱＋トレー＋袋に守られたクッキー)
7. オーガナイザーにゴミや残り物を託さない。本当に受け取りません。

ダイバーシティ - 多様性の尊重
食に制限がある人が半数以上です。Vegan、ベジタリアン、グルテンフリー、肉アレルギー、シュガーフリー、ヒンズー教、イスラム教、仏教など、さまざまな理由があります。私たちは国際的なので「みんなに合わせる」ではなく「個々を大切に」なスタンスです。

1. 食べ物をシェアしたい場合、真ん中に置いて個々におすすめしない
2. 断られたら「ちょっとぐらい大丈夫」と言わない。遠慮じゃなく拒否です。
3. 食べ物をシェアして断られたら「拒否されたのは私じゃなくて、食べ物」と理解する
4. シャイな人にとって苦痛なので自己紹介タイムは無し
