Docker User Group AI Engineering with Containers feat. Nvidia DGX Spark
RSVP at https://www.meetup.com/melbourne-docker-user-group/events/312985492/
Join the Docker Melb Crew for a deep dive into the next frontier of AI: **Agentic Systems**. We are moving beyond simple chatbots to discuss how to build, containerize, and deploy autonomous agents that can plan, reason, and act.
This session brings together Melbourneโs engineers and architects to discuss the unique challenges of running multi-agent workflows. We will explore how containerization provides the isolation and scalability needed for complex agentic architectures.
**๐ Powered by: The DGX Spark** We will demonstrate what happens when Agentic AI meets extreme compute. See how agent workloads perform when accelerated by the **NVIDIA DGX Spark** (GB10 Blackwell / CUDA 13). We will look less at the metal and more at how this level of throughput unlocks real-time reasoning and massive parallel agent execution and prototyping.

Our February Go Meetup @ Stile
Hi Gophers!
Weโre kicking off the year with our first Go meetup in February, covering structured concurrency and anti-fragility with speakers Peter Delafosse, Max Collier, and Nick Spain.
๐ค Speakers
**Go News**
Peter Delafosse
**Better Structured Concurrency for Go**
Max Collier
An introduction to [sourcegraph/conc](https://sourcegraph.com/blog/building-conc-better-structured-concurrency-for-go) a library improving concurrency handling in Go.
Max will cover:
* The problem `conc` is designed to solve
* A walkthrough of its interface
* Insights into its internals
Based on the Sourcegraph blog โBuilding conc: Better Structured Concurrency for Go.โ
**Automating anti-fragility**
Nick Spain, Head of Platform, Stile Education
At Stile we have a bug zero policy. This encompasses actions items (for reducing toil and preventing future incidents) and test flake. This means we actively prioritise bugs all the time, they're not languishing in the backlog, action items are completed whilst people still have context, and we consistently work to reduce test flake. I will talk about: How this policy is implemented, what tooling we use to help us, and how we have automated this work using AI.

Thoughtstormยฎ Session Topic: World Interfaith Harmony, Yarraville
Would you like to enhance your creativity, confidence and increase your awareness? Weโd love you to join us to Thoughtstormยฎ the topic World Interfaith Harmony in the warm, friendly environment of the Yarraville Community Centre.
How Thoughtstorm came about
Thoughtstorm is a technique developed from a seed of speculation: are there more effective (rational, cooperative, compassionate) ways of thinking? Methods whose long-term consequences will not lead to oblivion. This is the genesis of Thoughtstorm.
What is it?
For anyone with an interest in leadership, deeper conversations or creative problem solving, something much more than a group discussion occurs. What is experienced in Thoughtstorm is a forgotten sensory ability - mind-linking. An evolution in human thinking and learning.
The direction moves from a narrow range of possibility into discovering corecepts, when individual minds merge into a much more powerful collective awareness and experience a deeper, more compassionate comprehension of reality. Corecepts trigger intuitive recognition and agreement by the group, a โWhy, of course!โ reaction.
New insights guaranteed!
Because this process taps into abilities already present in the human mind and into aggregates of consciousness straining to express themselves, very little practice is required.
Would you like to see and understand things in a way that is new for all of us? Would you like to develop your consciousness and your creative intelligence? Would you like to be inspired to create positive change?
Then come and join us to Thoughtstorm together.
If itโs your first time to Thoughtstorm, please RSVP early to give plenty of time to arrange a brief prep call on Zoom to go over the Thoughtstorm procedures so we can all get started on time together.
**Agenda:**
6.30pm - Arrive, meet and greet, read over Thoughtstorm instructions
6.45pm - Begin the Thoughtstorm
7.45pm - Finish
When you RSVP we will be in touch with the details.
We look forward to seeing you there!

Intro to Shaders in Unity
This meetup is a beginner-friendly, hands-on workshop focused on building shaders in Unity using Shader Graph. Instead of slides or theory-heavy lectures, we'll build real shaders together step-by-step.

**What to Expect:**
* Build 4โ5 complete shaders from scratch
* Color tints, snow accumulation, scrolling water, dissolve effects, and more
* No prior shader experience required
* Checkpoint files provided if you fall behind
* Resources for continued learning
All experience levels are welcome. Whether you've never opened Shader Graph or just want to fill gaps in your knowledge, this is a supportive space to learn by doing.
