**BCRG first Sunday of the month social ride** **What to Expect:** This is a monthly riding event that the organizers of BRCG created to socialize between the different groups and levels of the participants of this meetup. Every organizer shares the details of his ride below and you can attend signing up for the event and answering the name of the organizer you will go with. After the rides, around **1:30PM**, all groups will meet for drinks and food in Badalona port. **Is This Ride for Me?** Before to sign up for a ride check the details of the route, elevation, km and speed level expected. While this ride is open to everyone, we ask that you are comfortable riding in groups, have a **road bike**, and **have done rides of similar distance and elevation** before. We welcome all newcomers but everyone is expected to be **self-sufficient**, therefore please bring not only your helmet, a spare inner tube, at least 1lt of water and a energy snack if you wish but also sync the route, bring phone and some cash. **Safety:** Beside wearing an helmet, proper shoes (not open shoes) and a road bike in good conditions **every rider is responsible of his own safety** and must respect the [spanish cyclist regulations](https://www.dgt.es/comunicacion/noticias/20-normas-que-todo-ciclista-debe-conocer/), ultimate safety starts and ends with everyone riding responsibly. Guys at 20.00h** **How does the event work?** * **Welcome** → Guests arrive and register. Hosts welcome you. You will receive a sticker to write your name and stick it on your chest. This will help to remember all names. You will also have a pen and a sheet of paper just exclusively for you where you need to write the names of all the dates you will have and comments just for yourself. You may find in the sheet the number or letter of the table you need to sit at the beginning. Go to the waiting area that the organizers will tell you. At the end of the event it is important that you scan the first QR CODE on your sheet and there will have to fill in your contact information: name, phone number, instagram, mail... and the name of the three people you like the most (It is a good idea to write all the names in the sheet as long as we are having the dates, and at the end just crossed out all except for the 3 we like the most). In the form we will also appreciate your feedback either good or negative to improve the event. You can grab a drink, nip the loo and relax in the indicated area. We ask the girls to come 15 minutes earlier than guys to start sitting them. In general we organise two or three groups divided by age range, but it depends on the number of participants. During the rounds a waiter/waitress will come just in case you need a refill! * **Icebreaker activity** → Depending on the day we have an ice-breaker activity for each group which consists in answering questions to start getting to know all participants. * **Rounds Begin** → Each participant has a mini-date (7 minutes) with another person. You may find ice breaker questions on the table in case you need them to help start enthralling conversations. * **Rotation** → At the signal (host announcement or gong), the guys move to the next partner. The rotation is always following the order of the numbers or letters you will find on the table: A,B,C,D,E,F... 1,2,3,4,5,6... When you get to the last number you will jump to the first one. Same with letters. Boys will be stand up 30 seconds to take notes and girls will remain sitting in same position. * **Half-break** → There is no half-break but if you want to pause, just ask the host if you can skip a round of 7 minutes so you can order drinks or food, go to the can or just relax at the garden. * **End of Rounds** → At the end we usually gather at the garden to have a drink. Like this you still have time to talk to people and make your decision. * **Fill the sheet** → Participants indicate who they’d like to see again. Maximum 3 names. It is important to scan the first QR code in your sheet to fill the form. We could increase the number of names voted but here we are **looking for the real sparkle. You can vote until monday at 18h!** * **Results** → **On tuesday in the morning**, the organizer shares mutual matches privately after the event by Meetup message or mail. También tendrás un **bolígrafo y una hoja** exclusiva para ti donde escribirás los nombres de tus citas y tus comentarios personales. En la hoja podrás tener el número o letra de la mesa donde deberás iniciar el juego. Ves a la zona de espera indicada por los organizadores. Al final del evento es **muy importante** escanear el **primer QR** de tu hoja para rellenar el formulario con tu: * nombre * número de teléfono * Instagram * correo electrónico * **los tres nombres** de las personas que más te han gustado *(Es buena idea escribir todos los nombres durante las citas y al final tachar todos excepto los 3 que más te gusten.)* En ese formulario también puedes dejar tu feedback para mejorar el evento. Mientras esperas puedes pedir una bebida, ir al baño y relajarte en la zona indicada. Pedimos a las chicas que lleguen **15 minutos antes** para poder sentarlas antes de que lleguen los chicos. Generalmente organizamos dos o tres grupos por rangos de edad, dependiendo del número de participantes. Durante las rondas, un camarero pasará por si necesitáis pedir algo. *** ### **Actividad para romper el hielo** Dependiendo del día, hacemos una actividad para romper el hielo que consiste en contestar una serie de preguntas por grupos que sirven para conocer un poco más las diferentes personas antes de empezar las rondas de speed dating. ### **Inicio de rondas** Cada participante tiene una mini-cita de **7 minutos** con otra persona. Podrás encontrar preguntas para romper el hielo en la mesa que podrás usar si tu deseas para empezar una buena conversación. ### **Rotación** A la señal del anfitrión (campana o gong), **los chicos se mueven** a la siguiente mesa. La rotación es siempre siguiendo el orden de los números o letras que se encontrarán en las diferentes mesas: A,B,C,D,E,F... 1,2,3,4,5,6.... Al llegar a la última letra, se irá hacía la primera. Lo mismo aplica con los números. Los chicos se levantan 30 segundos para tomar notas; las chicas permanecen sentadas. ### **Pausa** No hay pausa general, pero si quieres descansar una ronda de 7 minutos, puedes pedir al anfitrión saltarte una ronda para pedir bebida, comida, ir al baño o relajarte en el jardín. ### **Fin de rondas** Al terminar, normalmente nos reunimos en el jardín para tomar algo. Así puedes seguir hablando y tomar tu decisión final. ### **Rellenar la hoja** Indica los nombres de **máximo 3 personas** que te gustaría volver a ver. Escanea el **primer QR** y rellena el formulario. Podríamos ampliar a más nombres pero aquí realmente **estamos buscando la chispa real**, por eso el límite es de 3 nombres máximo a votar. Tenéis hasta el lunes a las 18h para votar. ### **Resultados** El **martes por la mañana**, el organizador enviará los **matches mutuos** de forma privada por mensaje de Meetup o correo, por favor revisar la bandeja de SPAM. Si tienes un match, recibirás la **información de contacto** de esa persona. *** # **Normas importantes** * Es fundamental que en tu perfil tengas **una foto clara de ti**. Si no tienes foto, te moveremos a la lista de espera. * Aunque veas lista de espera, apúntate igualmente: ajustamos para mantener **equilibrio chicos/chicas**. * Si te inscribes y pagas pero no puedes venir, debes informarnos **48 horas antes del evento**. En caso contrario, no habrá reembolso ni cambio de fecha. * Debes respetar el código de conducta estándar y la educación con todo el mundo. La organización se reserva el derecho de expulsar del evento inmediatamente a quién esté incumpliendo las normas. Si algún participante detecta algún comportamiento sospechoso de otro, por favor, que informe en seguida a alguno de los organizadores. *** ## **Para mayores de 24 años:** Al apuntarte al evento aceptas aparecer en fotos que podrían publicarse. ¡Bienvenid@ a la Matinal de pádel de los DOMINGOS! Toda la mañana jugando a pádel, partidos nivelados con descansos. A diferencia del formato pozo, nosotros organizamos los partidos según tu nivel. Las parejas irán rotando, pero si quieres puedes venir con un acompañante y jugar todos los partidos con pareja fija. Nivel **iniciación** (0,5 - 1), **medio-bajo** (1,5 - 2), **medio** (2,5 - 3) y **medio-alto** (3,5 - 4). **TODOS LOS PARTIDOS SE JUGARÁN AL MEJOR DE 7 JUEGOS (es decir, el primero que llegue a 4 juegos gana y finaliza el partido).** Al acabar el partido sube al punto de encuentro para recibir instrucciones del organizador. **Horario: Domingo de 10:00h a 14:00h**. We’re basically **throwing a party in the middle of nowhere** — about an hour west of Columbus and an hour north of Dayton **Start early with the cookout** Come out around 4:00 PM for a **potluck-style cookout.** Bring something to share, hang out, have a few drinks, and meet people before the night gets rolling.
