Join us for an evening of board gaming at **Beertown** in Newmarket (East Gwillimbury)! Games will be provided and teachers will be available to help teach games to anyone who is willing to learn! You are also welcome to bring your own games to teach others. We welcome all to join us for an evening of fun. **Note:** We don't tend to play a lot of 'traditional' board games such as Monopoly, Clue, Sorry!, etc. Beertown has set aside some space for us to play games for a few hours. There is currently **no cover charge** for this event so **I would ask that members support our venue by buying some food or drink**. There will be no table service. Orders can be placed at the bar and the food/drink will be brought to our tables. Feel free to use the Event Chat or the comments to plan games ahead of time! Beertown is located in the plaza on the northeast corner of Yonge St and Green Lane, next to East Side Marios. There is plenty of parking available! We are Canada's largest, and longest-running, board game event for the queer community. **About Us:** Our events are friendly meetups that aim to create a safe space for the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, friends, and allies to gather and connect through gaming. Our goals for our events are to foster greater community, help build friendships, and support our community's safe space partners. **What to Expect:** Connecting with you and helping you find a group and a game is literally why we love putting these events on. Should you join us, both our volunteers and veteran attendees will help you feel comfortable and at home. Join us at Easton Town Center for a casual evening of board gaming. Play from our library or bring one of your favorites to share. We usually bring along Catan, Ticket to Ride, Cascadia, etc... We'll be set up at the Donatos Pizza Party Room. It was free for us to reserve, but you may want to buy a drink or go in on a pizza. Why Easton? Although there aren't any board game stores / cafes here, it's a nice area. More importantly, this event coincides with LifeTime Fitness Parent's Night Out, so our kid will get babysat. If you happen to be a member of Lifetime you too can get free babysitting and play some games.

I have some extra pickle ball paddles and balls if you don’t have one. Definitely bring your own paddle if you have one and bring some balls if you have them.
