eigene Instrumente, falls vorhanden

klug machendes Gesellschafts-Spiel
(English below)
\*\*\* english version \*\*\*
"Can a whale be a parakeet?"
\~> Of course not!
"Can a window be a drink?"
\~> Everyone knows that's impossible.
"Can a democracy be a republic?"
"Can a conjecture be an opinion?"
"Is grasping something the same as understanding something?"
\~> Well, now it gets tricky!
And it gets exciting...
Nothing stimulates thought quite like this new party game.
The rules:
1. Everyone writes a term on a slip of paper.
2. The slips of paper are drawn in pairs.
3. We project the meaning of the two words onto the wall using a projector.
4. Everyone can add to/edit the meaning using a laptop or smartphone, and must provide examples of why something could be the same, or could never be the same.
5. After a while, no one can think of anything else. The differences and similarities between the two words are clearly highlighted.
Then the score is tallied:
(+1) Each new entry adding meaning earns one point.
(-2) However, each deleted entry deducts two points.
(+5) Each improvement on the existing meaning in Reclue earns five points.
The understanding of all players becomes much clearer, especially with frequent play.
And the winners with the highest score receive the prize of the day.
The game also works in multiple languages.
You may join us from home using the internet. Comments in meetup-app will be used to organize that it works.
The location (somewhere in Prenzlauer Berg) will be published the day when it takes place.

đ Waiting for Midnight: A NYE for Those Who Don't Do Loud Countdown
**A Vietnamese home-style New Yearâs Eve for those spending the night in Berlin.**
On New Yearâs Eve, many things in Berlin revolve around noise, countdowns, and party plans made weeks in advance.
For a homebody like me, I often feel a little out of place.
And this year, I suddenly donât feel like spending the holiday alone.
So Iâm opening my kitchen for a spontaneous, cozy and low-key New Yearâs Eve gathering.
**The Story**
It was a culture shock for me to realize that New Yearâs Eve in Europe doesnât have a strong family focus.
In Vietnam, it does. In my family, New Yearâs Eve get-together has never been about showing up when dinner is ready.
One family hosts, but everyone helps.
We arrive hours early.
We cook together, snack in the kitchen, drink a little wine, talk, and catch up.
The food is finished before midnight, but we donât eat yet.
At midnight, we gather, make a toast, welcome the new year, and only then do we sit down and eat together.
This evening follows that tradition.
**What the evening looks like**
* **Cooking together**
Iâll show you how to make Vietnamese fried spring rolls using my family recipe. If youâre curious, Iâll also share how I prepare other dishes on the menu.
* **Year-end reflection**
Before eating, weâll take a short pause to reflect on the year thatâs ending. Youâll be invited to write a short letter to yourself for the year ahead. Iâll keep your sealed letter and send it back to you in January, and then remind you to open it one year from now.
* **Midnight**
We eat and celebrate together after midnight.
**The NYE Menu**
* **CháșŁ giĂČ chiĂȘn** â Vietnamese fried spring rolls
*(weâll roll them together; some will be fried for the night, and if there's leftover, you're welcome to take some home. So don't be shy and bring your Tupperware!)*
* **CĂĄnh gĂ chiĂȘn nưá»c máșŻm tá»i** â garlic fish sauce fried chicken
* **Thá»t ba rá»i quay** â crispy roasted pork belly
* A **small, sweet dessert surprise**
Drinks (tea, water, & a reasonable casual-drinking amount of wine/beer) are included.
No vegan or vegetarian option will be available for this dinner.

CMG Gives Back: Food Distribution at CHAMPION FOOD PANTRY!
Start the New Year off right! Join us as we get together to help those in need at this CMG Gives Back event to distribute food at the Champion Food Pantry! Weâve created a great little community of Movie Group friends! Rather than see a movie this time, weâll help âCreate a better worldâ by helping serve people in need. Here are complete details and our plan for this event:
CHAMPION FOOD PANTRY: The Champion Food Pantry provides needed food to neighbors experiencing food insecurity. For this event, weâll be volunteering to help with Food Distribution during client pick up times. Our group will receive on-the-spot training from some of their seasoned regular volunteers.
PLAN FOR CHAMPION FOOD PANTRY: Please arrive by 2:45pm. Our volunteer time will be from 3:00 to 6:00pm.
LOCATION & PARKING: The Champion Food Pantry is located at 1460 S. Champion Ave in Columbus. Parking is located in the lot on Frebis across from the pantry. Please enter through the door marked "Volunteers enter hereâ on Frebis Ave. A map has been uploaded to the photos.
IMPORTANT REMINDER: Our group will be providing the majority of the volunteers on this day so a firm RSVP count is essential. Please only sign up if you are certain youâll be able to attend. If something unavoidable comes up, please update your RSVP no later than one week prior to the event. No shows or cancelations within 1 week of the event will mak you ineligible for future CMG Gives Back events. I appreciate your understanding as we try to ensure the agencies have the volunteers needed to provide the essential services they provide to the vulnerable population they serve.

THANK YOU: This CMG Gives Back event provides an opportunity for YOU to get involved in helping others in our community! But the benefits go well beyond the help we give to others. Volunteering can provide a wide range of personal benefits, including positive effects on mental and physical health, reduced stress/depression/anxiety, increased happiness and improved purpose, life-satisfaction and personal well-being! Plus, the opportunity to get involved, connect with others and help those in need.
PARTNER AGENCY: This event is hosted by Lutheran Social Services (LSS), which serves thousands of people in need each day in 27 Ohio counties by addressing the four core societal issues of food, shelter, safety and healing. LSS offers food through the LSS Food Pantries, housing and supportive services through LSS Faith Mission and LSS Faith Mission of Fairfield County homeless shelters, domestic violence services through LSS CHOICES for Victims of Domestic Violence, senior living and health care, affordable housing communities, and other services that uplift families and strengthen communities.

Join us for lunch at True Food Kitchen in Easton as we celebrate the New Year and our friendships!
Free In-person Meeting: Unwanted Emotions & Loneliness, How to Get Over Them
This is an in-person meeting.
Did you know that unwanted emotions like loneliness, sadness, hopelessness, anger, fear, anxiety, or feelings of irritation donât just fall on you for no reason. They are not random occurrences that simply happen to people's minds. They are definitely not chemical imbalance in your brain due to some nebulous chemical reactions by chance.
Your negative emotions are the symptoms of the painful experiences that you have which are not healed, and which are still affecting you.
The effects of these painful experiences are exacerbated by the pressures or difficulties of the other problems in your life.
For instance, let's say you are already carrying a huge load on your back, then you cannot take on much more, but, let's say something else happens to you, such as the difficulties from the Pandemic, then the resultant combined weight on you can take you over the edge, kind of like the straw that break the camel's back. When this happens, people's attention usually goes to the straw that was added, but actually the majority of the weight had come from the huge load that were already there, holding a person down and causing a person issues.
So how do you remove the huge load that was already there? How do you lighten them up? Is it possible to get rid of them?
That is what this meeting will be all about.
Come to our Meetup, where we can introduce you to some of the knowledge, tools and techniques of the breakthroughs in the field of the mind that we can apply to this ever important area of life.
Be sure to click on the red "Attend" button below to come to this local event. We look forward to seeing you there.
This group is created by the Dianetics and Scientology Life Improvement Center of Central Ohio.
COUNT RMH Housewarmer Volunteering (Ronald McDonald House)

âą Show up and try it out.
âą Complete application, etc. later.
Normal process

âą Attend orientation in advance.
âą At orientation you will complete forms agreeing to keep family/patient info private and allowing a background check and tour the facility.
âą Complete one training shift. Daily shifts are: morning 9 AM - 1 PM, afternoon 1 - 5 PM and evening 5 - 9 PM.
âą Schedule shifts online using the on the RMH scheduling system (http://www.volgistics.com/ex/portal.dll/?FROM=32895).
The Ronald McDonald House (RMH) provides housing and meals for families with sick children. The Columbus RMH is the largest in the world with 137 rooms. COUNT has been volunteering there since May 2014.
Housewarmers work with RMH guests to provide a home-like environment - greet, assist with family needs, answer phones, give tours, assist with checkin/checkout, prepare guest rooms after checkout, clean facility, laundry, restock supplies and staff the front desk. RMH Housewarmers volunteer at least one four-hour shift a month. All Housewarmers must complete an application and agree to a background check before they can be full fledged volunteers.
