Together, we’ll explore Stanmore Country Park, embracing Shinrin-yoku (森林浴), the Japanese idea of 'forest bathing' to de-stress and reconnect with nature. 🌿 Feel free to practice speaking Korean or Japanese as we walk. ​Enjoy seasonal bluebells and stunning views across London. **Schedule & Meeting Point** 🌸​2:30 PM: We'll meet at Caffé Nero, Stanmore (8 min walk from Stanmore Station). Feel free to get a drink, we'll wait until 3PM for everyone to arrive. 🌸​3:00 PM: We'll start walking towards, then into the woods, where we'll pass streams and bluebells along the way. Keep an eye out for wild deer. 🦌 We'll stop at a panoramic view point, and rest for a while before continuing. Afterwards we'll return to Stanmore station, where you can either leave, or join the rest of us for a bus ride to Bang Bang Oriental Food Court in Colindale, we'll enjoy some great food, then go to a nearby pub. ​🥾 Hike Difficulty: Moderate *​Expect hilly areas and uneven paths, not a flat paved walk. - ​Depending on recent weather, some paths may be a bit muddy - please wear appropriate footwear. ​🏵 Final note: ​Stanmore is at the end of the Jubilee Line, I know it's far for some people.
