We’re a healthy mix of people at various stages of their amateur music journey but we want to create space that is especially welcoming to first-time performers. If you're new to sharing music, know that this is a no-pressure, supportive space where beginners are encouraged and we value having fun over perfection! **How it works:** * It’s unplugged and intimate. We go around in a song circle - each person gets a turn to play one song per round. You’re welcome to sit out a round if you prefer. * Singers welcome - no instrument needed. Go acappella or ask for accompaniment. * Covers, originals, instrumentals - all styles welcome. **A few practical notes:** * RSVP is essential in order to perform. * Plus one’s are welcome RSVP only required for musicians. * Can’t make it? Please update your RSVP so someone else can join. * Respect the performers: stay quiet during songs, and use breaks between rounds to grab a drink or step out. * The venue is free so we encourage you to support the bar by grabbing a drink. * The room we will be in is semi-private - patrons may wander in and listen from the back of the room. **Tips jar on the night

Come join us at The Playground with our weekly drop-in improv workshop! Running on Monday evenings, this is a chance to experience improv among like minded people. No experience necessary and all levels are welcome! Each week we will have a different theme with exercises and activities to allow us improve our improv skills. Whether you are interested in developing the skills for your professional or personal life, or you are someone who currently performs or would like to perform on stage, then there is something for everyone. The long-term objective of The Playground is to create a place for people to develop and create projects and shows, providing regular opportunities for those who wish to perform in shows. Facilitated by two very experienced improvisers, Neil Curran and Quinton O'Reilly, join us for some play! She was teaching kizomba in many countries of Europe, Asia and even Australia working with top names like: Mike Even's, L'Ange Noir Kizombar, Ennuel Iverson Full, Willy Dianza Dance Page, Ronie Saleh Artist, Oncle Kani and more... but teaching also on her own. She is a specialist in leading and following. During her classes she’s focusing on both leaders and followers giving them a lot of valuable advice helping to improve and feel more confident on the dance floor. She’s appreciated for her professionalism, methodology and positive energy.

Please secure your spot by booking through the app! ​Listeners: If performance spots are full, we’d still love for you to come along, listen, and soak up the atmosphere.
