Queer Gayme Dive
This is an opportunity to meet up for some LGBTQ2IA-flavoured gaming and socializingโallies also welcome. Come for the gaming, socializing, and the drinks! :) Be sure to invite friends and such, too. Weโll be in the larger area towards the back.
Event officially runs from 4pm to 7pm, at which point we start to pack away the games, clearing up before the band takes the stage (9:30-10pm).
You'll have access to a robust library of board games, and attendees are welcome to bring their own games.
There is no event fee. Instead we ask attendees to purchase beverages from the venue, Penny's Bar, conveniently located beside Lansdowne subway station at 1306 Bloor St. West. Of course, since they are offering us their space for free, please consider buying a drink if you can--possibly from our \*custom menu\*!
We provide nametag stickers with a pronoun field; we want this to be a comfortable environment for everyone, kindly respect people's listed or stated pronouns.
If you are unsure of someone's pronouns, don't assume: Ask, Respect and Practice
Definitely ask before taking pictures/videos
Alas Penny's is not accessible due to stairs, dim lighting, and loud noises. While external food is welcome, outside beverages are not permitted.

๐ธ๐ SPRING WALK OF THE TORONTO ISLANDS (9KM) ๐๐ธ
๐ธ๐ SPRING WALK OF THE TORONTO ISLANDS (9KM) ๐๐ธ
Lakeside Paths, Skyline Views & A Full Island Escape
Thereโs something about the Toronto Islands that feels like a mini getaway โ even though youโre just minutes from downtown.
Join us for a relaxed, scenic spring walk across the Toronto Islands, where open water, quiet pathways, and skyline views come together in one of the cityโs most peaceful settings.
The Islands have a rich and layered history โ once a sandbar peninsula connected to the mainland until a storm in 1858 separated it, creating the island chain we know today. Over time, itโs been home to cottages, amusement parks, and a tight-knit residential community that still exists on Wardโs Island.
On this walk, weโll move from the quieter, more open spaces of Hanlan's Point, through the lively areas of Centre Island, and end in the charming residential feel of Ward's Island.
This is not a formal tour.
Itโs a social walk with fresh air, beautiful views, and time to connect.

๐ถโโ๏ธ What Weโll Do
Weโll take the ferry together to Hanlanโs Point and begin our walk across the islands.
The route is flat, easy, and beginner-friendly โ perfect if youโre easing back into walking or just want something relaxed.
Weโll pass beaches, open green space, and some of the best skyline views in the city (perfect photo moment ๐ธ), making our way through Centre Island before ending at Wardโs Island.
Feel free to bring a snack to enjoy along the way โ or even something small to share.
Youโre welcome to leave at any time or stay and explore after we finish.
๐ฆ๏ธ Weather & Expectations
This walk will happen in typical spring weather โ which means sun, wind, or light rain are all possible.
As long as itโs not extreme conditions, weโll be going ahead.
The islands can feel cooler and windier than the city, so dress in layers and be prepared.
Comfortable shoes are a must.
Also โ this is NOT a guided or historical tour. Iโll share bits of history casually, but the focus is on enjoying the experience together.

Urban Trails, Creative Energy & A Junction Hangout
Some of Torontoโs best walks follow the paths that used to move trains โ now they move people.
Join us for a relaxed, social walk along the West Toronto Railpath, a unique urban trail that blends city views, street art, and a slightly hidden side of Toronto most people overlook.
Weโll make our way north toward The Junction, a neighbourhood known for its creative spirit, independent shops, and laid-back vibe โ the kind of place that feels a little different from the rest of the city.
This is not a formal tour.
Itโs a social walk with interesting surroundings and time to connect.

Once we reach the Junction, weโll explore the area a bit before stopping for a casual lunch together.

[Hike - Difficult] Seaton Trail & 3rd Concession
Valley Farm Dog Park @ Seaton Trail & 3rd Concession -
**\*\*\* This is a difficult trail \*\*\***
Please read carefully to maximize the enjoyment of everyone who attends:
There are multiple trails located here, some are relatively easy, others are more difficult. I will be leading you over the more challenging sections and at a fast pace. We wont be running, but moving along quickly. Don't worry, we will be stopping to rest at the peaks as well as some of the more scenic areas.
This area contains a number of rather steep hills which tend to be rocky and wet. Flip side, this trail also offers gorgeous views both from the peaks, as well as down along the water.
We will hike at a medium pace (4 - 5 km/h) for the 10 or so kms.
It's not a hike for beginners due to the steep rocky hills and faster pace. For the same reason no dogs or children.
Bring 1L of water and good hiking shoes or boots.
Parking Address:
Valley Farm Rd. & 3rd Concession ยท Pickering, ON
NOTE: Due to construction you canโt take Brock to 3rd concession, you MUST take valley farm road which you can reach from Brock via Dellbrook Ave, or alternatively via Kingston or Finch Ave.

Book summary:
Daniel leads a rich life in the university town of Athens, Georgia. He's got a couple close friends, a steady paycheck working for a regional airline, and of course, for a few glorious days each Fall, college football tailgates. He considers himself to be a mostly lucky guy -- despite the fact that he's suffered from a debilitating disease since he was a small child, one that has left him unable to speak or to move without a wheelchair. Largely confined to his home, Daniel spends the hours he's not online communicating with irate air travelers observing his neighborhood from his front porch. One young woman passes by so frequently that spotting her out the window has almost become part of his daily routine. Until the day he's almost sure he sees her being kidnapped.
