# Taylor Creek Slow Walk & Reset Join us for a relaxed, no-pressure walk through Taylor Creek. We’ll meet near **Cullen Bryant Park** and walk at an easy pace toward **Victoria Park**. It’s the kind of walk where you can slow down, notice the light through the trees, listen to the creek, and let the conversation happen naturally. *** ## What to expect The walk is about **4 km** and will take around **1 - 1.5 hours.** We’ll keep the pace comfortable and take a short pause along the way to enjoy the surroundings. You’re welcome to chat, walk quietly, or move between the two. There are no pressure to socialize in any particular way. Just showing up and being present is enough. **Being there is enough.** *** ## A few notes 1. Comfortable shoes are still a good idea, and you may want to bring water. This group is for badminton enthusiasts who are passionate about exploring the connections between metabolism, energy, and exercise. We are welcome beginner plus, intermediate and advance level players looking to improve your skill or a seasoned player seeking to optimize your performance on the court, this group is for you! Join us for friendly games. This badminton session is a weekly event and it is followed with dinner together but it is optional. Birdies: Please bring one birdie with you. The Forge does have a full bar and kitchen. There is no cover charge but they do request all attendees to purchase a minimum of ~20 per person. Soft drink refills are 1 each. Please support our hosts so we can continue to provide great events for the group! The Forge has a large library of games available for us to enjoy. Hosts and regulars will also provide numerous popular games but please bring any games you would like to teach and/or play. Doors open at 6, and we expect gaming to be rolling by around 630. Please promptly end your games and clear out the space at 10pm when the bar closes. We encourage socializing but do not permit disruptive behavior of any kind. Thank you for your continued commitment to providing a fun and welcoming space to veteran, newbie, and rookie gamers in the Columbus area. Parking can sometimes fill esrly. There is additional parking lot behind the neighboring Mexican restaurant that is free and easy to walk from but it's a bit hidden.
