Whether you come solo or bring a mate, you’ll leave with new connections and memories! ------------------------------------------------------- 🚙 Carpooling Makes It Happen Social Hikes Australia runs on community spirit and carpooling is a big part of that. Every seat offered means another hiker can join the adventure. Less cars, easier logistics, more fun together. Carpooling is a great way to start the day by meet new people, share a few laughs, and arrive at the trail together. Drivers, your contribution makes a huge difference, and passengers, your gratitude keeps it all running smoothly. It’s simple, social and one of the best parts of the Social Hikes Australia experience. 🚗🌿 ------------------------------------------------------- 👉 Carpool Driver information If you’ve got spare seats and don’t mind some company, offering a lift is one of the best ways to kick off the day 🚙💨. It makes the trip more fun, helps out fellow hikers who don’t have a car and is an easy way to make a few friends before we even hit the trail. Plus, fewer cars means less parking stress and a smoother start for everyone. For passengers, it’s the easiest way to get to the trail, meet new people and enjoy the ride together instead of travelling alone. In our Social Hikes Australia community, many people are more than happy to help out those without cars it’s part of what makes these days feel so welcoming and connected. ✨ Best practice: Passengers should try to secure transportation before purchasing a ticket to avoid any last-minute stress. Important Carpooling Note Drivers and passengers should stick with the arrangements they make. We do not recommend swapping drivers or cars after you’ve agreed on a ride. If you do decide to change, please make sure all parties are clearly informed and agree to avoid confusion. If a driver forgets, gets mixed up, or doesn’t pick you up, Social Hikes Australia (and your driver) are not liable for any inconvenience caused. For this reason, it is best to keep things simple with the driver you first arranged with. In the transport chat, drivers will share their preferred pick-up locations often major CBD train stations like Parliament, Richmond, South Yarra, Southern Cross, or North Melbourne. For this hike, the nearest station to the trail is Frankston , though drivers may choose whichever spot is most convenient for them. Passengers can then join from those locations. ------------------------------------------------------- 🤩 Why Join? 🌟 Make new friends in a super easy, zero pressure way 🌟 Enjoy nature and fresh air with great company 🌟 Friendly vibes full of laughs, chats and good times guaranteed 🌟 Your next hiking buddy might just become your next uni mate, housemate or travel buddy! ------------------------------------------------------- 🎟️ Tickets: All tickets are $20 per person. Play 3-Sided Soccer at Albert Park - mixed - social - all levels - all fitness
Play 3-Sided Soccer at Albert Park - mixed - social - all levels - all fitness
3 Teams. 3 Goals. Hexagonal Pitch. A game of alliance and betrayal in equal measure. We are looking for new players and returning players alike to come play a match. Players of any ability, fitness level or background are welcomed - the game is intended to be fun for a Sunday morning rather than super competitive. If you've never played before, that's okay - the rules are as simple as this: * There's no offside - roam where you will * Defend your goal at all costs * No hands (this is soccer-style football after all) Come down for 9:00am, we make some balanced teams and warm up for the match starting at 9:15. Three thirds are played of 25 minutes each so we're usually done by about 11:00am. All fitness and soccer skill levels more than welcome and encouraged! A note regarding junior players: We very much enjoy and encourage junior players to come along and play however please be aware of the following: * As most attendees are adults, all players must be a minimum of 1.5m tall and 13 years of age. Soccer may have incidental contact when contesting a ball, and we would hate for someone small to be injured as a result of running into someone larger than them. * Any players under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a playing parent or guardian. How to find us - We meet on the astroturf pitch near the Baselball and Hockey clubs in Albert Park. The main location we use is called "Dorothy Coleman Field". If we aren't there then there may be a couple of other locations, [as noted on this dynamic map](https://www.google.com/maps/d/edit?mid=1JdDwV4AOV5e-xP5d56m16-eu29GlnZQ&usp=sharing) \- generally we will follow in number order\.
Andrew's Birthday Karaoke & Dinner (both optional) @ Customs House Hotel
Andrew's Birthday Karaoke & Dinner (both optional) @ Customs House Hotel
Come along to Andrew's birthday karaoke with dinner at 7pm (both optional) at Customs House Hotel Williamstown. So first part is optional dinner. Table is booked under Andrew Goodwin and my number is 0424453134 if anybody needs to contact me. Here is a copy of the menu. [https://www.customshousehotel.com.au/eat](https://www.customshousehotel.com.au/eat) Then after optional dinner there is optional karaoke. Best to come through a bit before karaoke starts to write down a song or two or more before 9pm to make sure you get in a song or two basically if you're singing. PLEASE NOTE SINGING IS TOTALLY OPTIONAL AND YOU CAN SING AS MANY SONGS AS YOU LIKE (IF ANY) OR JUST CHOOSE TO WATCH ON ALL NIGHT. YOU WILL NOT BE PRESSURED INTO SINGING BASICALLY ANYWAY. IN REALITY WHAT HAPPENS IS SOME PEOPLE WILL NEVER SING BUT SOME OTHERS SEE OTHERS SINGING AND DECIDE TO SING ANYWAY EVEN THOUGH THEY DON'T NORMALLY SING. SO THAT'S JUST THE REALITY OF IT ALL. #### Karaoke hosted by T.D.K.S Entertainment **9pm till late** Let your hair down & be the star! Run by awesome fun loving girls. Over 38,000 songs updated regularly. Event cohosted by Martin Carr. Plenty of parking around and about a 5 minute walk from Williamstown Station and the trains run all night so a good option if you like a few light refreshments. PLEASE NOTE THIS EVENT IS ON MULTIPLE GROUPS.
