We invite you to come and practise your English with people from all over the world in a friendly environment. We are open to all levels from beginner to advanced. We have classes in small groups and you will be placed in one of these groups according to your level of English. Our free conversational English classes are every Thursday evening (except term breaks). If you are coming for the first time, please come on time for registration. Please note: English Corner is for non-native speakers. This inclusive grief circle is also an advocacy for compassionate and attentive grief work, for reshaping our understanding of and relationship with grief. It is a holding space, a container, a time and a deep permission to acknowledge our emotions, our connections, the ways we have been touched and transformed, and our humanity. Join us for a relaxed street art walk through Melbourne's CBD, exploring laneways, murals, and hidden creative spots while enjoying easy, natural conversation along the way. If you love photography, bring your camera or smart phone (charged) to snap some fun photos along the way. We often pose in front of our fave artworks. Be prepared to be silly with me 🤪… (optional of course) This event is about moving at a comfortable pace, noticing what’s around us, and letting conversation unfold organically as we walk. There’s no need for art knowledge - curiosity is more than enough. The walk has a **light structure to help things flow**, but nothing rigid. You’re welcome to chat as much or as little as you like and enjoy the experience in your own way. After the walk, there will be the option to stay on for dinner nearby for anyone who’d like to continue the conversation (completely optional). This event is best suited to adults **approx. 25–50 who are young-at-heart** and enjoy exploring the city, being outdoors, and connecting through shared experiences. Whether you’re new to painting or a seasoned hobbyist, this event is all about fun, creativity, and a little bit of madness. Learn how to paint vibrant greens, tattered clothing, and grimy details while exploring the lore and playstyle of goblins. From sneaky ambushers to reckless hordes, you’ll discover what makes these creatures both hilarious and dangerous on the battlefield. All supplies are provided, space is limited, and things are bound to get a little out of control.
