Sunday Practice Session — Practise What We Learned from Our Training Session Details Come and join us for a friendly Sunday badminton practice session in Walthamstow from 1pm till 3pm. This session is a great opportunity to practise what we learned from our recent training session, enjoy some games, and build confidence on court. We play with feather shuttlecocks. This session is suitable for all levels of players, including beginners, intermediate players, and more experienced players. No matter what your level, come along and join us. Also see Grade 1 listed, largest and most powerful tidal mill in the World, one of London's oldest surviving industrial heritage areas, 3 Mills which made Big Brother, Fantastic Mr Fox, Tim Burton's Corpse Bride, Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Master Chef and has rehearsal studios for Little Mix, One Direction, Paul McCartney, Beyonce, Lady Ga Ga and George Michael. A CLASSIC WALK through north London's top green and wooded area with its impressive Kenwood House. WALK START: **Meeting at Tufnell Park Station (Northern Line - High Barnet Branch** \- Zone 2\)\. WALK ROUTE: We will walk through the meadows and woods of Hampstead Heath. taking in Parliament Hill and passing by Kenwood House. WALK STOPOUT POINT: We cross a couple of London bus routes. Improve your overall fitness levels and make some new friends at the same time. **Social Event**: Our walks are social walks, where the emphasis is on meeting new people, enjoying nature, healthy exercise, and fresh air. Our walks are not interrupted with running commentaries or historical lectures, although occasionally features of significance may be pointed out. As such our walks will be continuous with few stops and it is your responsibilty to keep walkers ahead in view and to follow the direction of the walk. We always end the walk at a pub where the socialising can continue. Take this opportunity to visit green parts of London, unknown to most people, and that you would not otherwise have an opportunity to see. This is the 50th Anniversary of the Judgment of Paris. Significantly, in 1976, California wines unexpectedly outperformed French wines in a blind tasting with nine French judges, challenging the perception that only French wines were of the highest quality. This event helped elevate the status of California wines on the global stage and is considered a pivotal moment in wine history. House Wine, in Worthington, modestly, recreates that moment in history with a tasting both American and French wines in a fun, casual atmosphere. Hi ladies. We will meet in front of the Nature Center and head to the two Observation decks. We will then hike Hickory Ridge, Ripple Rock, Overlook and Sugarbush trails to get approximately four miles total distance. We will walk approximately a 18 minute mile pace. Please wear appropriate hiking shoes.
