Summer DMW

Our bi-annual trek across the Dublin Mountain Way. This is a 40km trek along forest trails and roads. There are no major mountain climbs involved but you should be able for the distance at a good pace (8 hour walk). Not one for new people to the group.
This is a linear walk. Starting from outside Tallaght Stadium at 09:00 we will finish in Shankill Village. You can make your own way to Tallaght and back from Shankill or if there is enough interest I can organise a bus from Shankill to Tallaght on the morning (or we can get taxis). There are good public transport links from both locations.
We can have food/drinks in Bradys pub at the end.
Light boots or trail runners are recommended.
