Wednesday, December 17, 6:00pm to 8:00pm

Let’s wrap up an incredible year of travel, culture, and connection with an evening of good food and great company! This will be a 100% social night — no presentation, no agenda — just time to mingle, laugh, and share stories with fellow travelers and new friends.

The German American Society has a full bar available for drinks, so you can purchase your favorite beverage.

To make the evening even more fun, we’ll have a Travel Passport Icebreaker game! Everyone will receive a little “passport” with prompts like:
- Find someone who’s been to more than 10 countries
- Find someone who’s eaten fried insects
- Find someone who’s gotten completely lost while traveling
- Find someone who’s fluent in another language
- Find someone who’s visited the same country as you
Fill your passport and you might win a small prize — but more importantly, you’ll meet tons of interesting people and swap some great stories!

Then, around 7:00 PM, we’ll do a short “Cheers Around the World” toast, celebrating our love for travel and community. We’ll raise a glass and say “cheers” in languages from around the globe — prost, salud, kampai, santé, skål, and more!

Please note the unusual start time: This event starts at 6pm, instead of our usual 6:30pm.

Whether you’ve been part of the group for years or this is your first event, you’re warmly invited to join us. This is a night to relax, connect, and celebrate everything we’ve experienced (and dreamed of) this year.
