What we’re about
Travel Companions for Seniors is a group for 60+ Seniors who love to travel. Members may be seeking a travel companion/s, travel information and/or advice, or simply friendship with like-minded people.
We have a wonderful mix of members ranging from those who enjoy 'five star' accommodation through to hostels, train adventurers to cruisers, solo and group travellers. Membership provides an opportunity to participate in weekends away, mid-month lunches, games days, outings and a monthly Sunday get together in the city.
TCFS is not a travel agency and all members are expected to organize their own travel arrangements. If a weekend away or group holiday is planned, the organiser/s share details of the event. Most members of this travel group are retired while a few are still in the work force. The common connection is the enjoyment of travel.
NEW MEMBERS
To apply for membership, click on 'Join Us' and sign up with your name, email address and the suburb you live in. Post a recent photograph of yourself and write a brief overview of your interests and travel wishes.
MEMBERSHIP FEES
There is a $10.00 annual membership fee due on 1st January each year or on joining the group. You will be notified of payment methods.
NEWSLETTER
We have a newsletter where you can ask travel questions, share your travel stories and/or photographs, and read about other members' adventures.

NON ACTIVE MEMBERS
The primary reason for members to be involved within the group is to become known and familiar with each other through social interaction at meetups.
If, after 3 months, you have not attended a monthly Meetup, been in touch with an organiser, or paid the annual membership fee, it will be assumed you do not wish to remain in the group and you will be taken off the membership list.
You are very welcome to rejoin at a later date. Membership is restricted to a manageable number so everyone is known to the group organisers and you are familiar with members within the group.
