Pond Bluff - NEW ROUTE

NEW route, New landing. Paddle along shorelines and through tall cypress trees draped in Spanish Moss. We'll visit the Pond Bluff area where Francis Marion's home was located and check out new landscapes and coves along the way. Fall color has started on the lakes. Anhinga, herons, cormorants and other wading birds are typically seen in this area. We'll land on a sandy beach for a stretch break. Come along for a fun adventure!

$35/person to rent kayak/gear- includes kayak, PFD, whistle and we bring to landing. Call 843-697-2812 by Friday, 10/24/25 for rental. Rentals are paid in advance with credit card and provided by Blueway Adventures.

$15/person for those bringing your own kayak/gear (BYOE). Whistle and PFD required by SCDNR. Kayaks 12' and longer are highly recommended. No inflatables permitted. You can bring cash day of paddle or call 843-697-2812 to prepay with credit card.

NOTE: There is a $3/kayak launch fee paid to the landing. Bring cash.

Bring water, snack/lunch, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, shoes that can get wet.

Trip duration varies depending on water/weather conditions and group. Return time is estimated.
