Due to a poor map of relating we have been modeled most people

  • Don't feel agency to spark up interesting conversation, not knowing where to begin or what to put their attention on to create newness.

  • Are not able to really listen and inquire into meaning, to truly understand someone's inner landscape

  • Have lost their natural curiosity and the means to follow it in conversation, so you don't end up in a captive audience situation

  • Lack elegance or capacity at all to navigate conflict

Come and practice with us and it will undoubtedly transform the way you relate. In fact, even if you use the skills badly, it will make a fundamental shift to your relationships.

You will be guided by Triibe Co-Founders to

  • Learn skills that will change the way you relate with others

  • Practice being more embodied in your communication

  • Develop more relational confidence

  • Connect in with your naturalness and spontaneity

____________

The skills portion of the evening includes diving in to topics and practices that explore boundaries, embodiment, mediation, sense-making, Classical Tantra and Zen philosophies, emotions, our connection with important rites of passage such as death.

These skills and distinctions are inspired by pioneers in the field of psychology and neuroscience such as:

Bessel Van Der Kolk & Pat Ogden's : on non-verbal communication, embodied expression & self regulation

Terry Real : healthy boundaries & self esteem

Pia Melody on developmental trauma, codependency and emotional maturity

Gestalt therapy & Margaret Paul on "Inner Bonding" & re parenting and reconnecting with fragmented parts of the Self

Dr Femhi the originator of Open Focus Meditation and pioneer of Neurofeedback.
____________

What is 'Circling'?
Firstly it is not a sharing circle, where we alternate who shares, one at a time, about our selves, or something we are thinking or feeling.Circling is a relational practice, rather than a one directional conversation.
Secondly it is a relational meditation, meaning we bring presence in to our communication and draw on what's occurring in the present moment between us.
___________

Triibe Circling :
Over the years we have developed our own flavour of Circling, influenced by current research on the psychology of relating, neuroscience, attachment and trauma. The person who most attributed to Circling is Guy Sengstock, who's original passion for transformation, connection and authenticity now has people all over the world are learning and engaging in this practice.

It can look like group meditation; deep and meaningful conversation; embodied expression (e.g. with voice and movement) and creative play
