Optimism has been a driving force behind founding the Triple Step Studios in 2019, a non-profit swing dance studio dedicated to fostering joy and community through dance. We believe that when people come together to share a common passion, something magical happens. Barriers break down, insecurities fade, and a sense of shared joy takes hold. This is the essence of swing dance, and it's something we've witnessed firsthand countless times at Triple Step Studios. Thank you for being part of this community!

Are you looking to challenge your partnership and add some fun dips and tricks into your dancing?
If you don't feel ready to do Air Steps, but you do want to get working on with fancy-looking moves, dips and tricks are great way for you to build up your technique, strength and trust, before moving to more challenging moves.
You can bring your own partner - although not required! Wear comfortable clothes and especially for the leads take a good pare of sneakers on, so you don't slip on the dance floor. We have couple of slides for the followers, socks will do it if you have sneakers on (you can also put sock on top of sneakers to make them slide if needed). In order to ensure everyone's safety during the workshop, we kindly request that you do not wear high heels.
Schedule:
4-6pm Workshop
Please arrive by 3.45pm, so we can start promptly at 4pm with safely talk and warm up.Also, please note that there will be no aerial moves or activities requiring spotters, flying in the air or being upside down.
